Morning Light Foundation (U.S.) Scholarships

Founded in 2005, Morning Light Foundation is a charitable nonprofit organization approved by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service under IRC 501(c)(3). Over the years, it has remained committed to supporting students with financial need by providing scholarships and organizing teaching support teams for underprivileged students in rural areas of China. To date, the foundation has supported more than 5,000 outstanding university students facing financial hardship across Guangxi, Jiangxi, Anhui, and Hunan.
Beginning in 2015, Morning Light Foundation launched scholarship support for students studying in the United States through the Morning Light Foundation (U.S.) International Student Scholarship. In 2018, it added the Morning Light Foundation (U.S.) Domestic Student Scholarship. Scholarships of USD 6,000 are awarded to students with strong academic performance and demonstrated financial need, benefiting both international and domestic students enrolled in universities and graduate schools in the United States.
Applications for the Morning Light Foundation (U.S.) Scholarships are now open. The application deadline is April 30, 2026. All applications will be reviewed based on eligibility, the application form, and supporting documents.
